Mumford Family in Midway, UT and a few other things...

My parents have started the every-other-year reunion tradition with our family and this year we stayed at a beautiful home up in Midway, UT that slept all 30 of us! It was an incredible week filled with swimming, fishing (zanna and james both caught their first fish!), mountain biking, hiking, shakes at Granny's, hot tubing, journal writing, guitar singing, bonfires, croquet, soccer, lots of chatting and lots of eating! We especially loved the time with family since we live the farthest away and were so happy to be there with all my siblings and all the cousins. I can't say enough thanks to my parents for putting this all together- we love you guys!!

we had to start the week off with beautiful toes
Goldie and Zanna as princesses
hanging out on this huge deck--someday I hope to have a deck like this!
Courtnee is an AMAZING face painter and the kids loved their new looks (click on this picture to see up close how amazing the tiger face is!!)
I am NOT your mama!
hanging out after FHE the first night
My dad retired this year from teaching and we made him a book filled with pictures of us with Dad and letters to him with our memories and things we have learned from him.  He has influenced so many people through his teaching and we all feel very lucky to have him for our dad- way to go pops!
we were all given journals to write in thru the week and the kids loved having their own notebooks and pencils to draw in
we did a service project together for one morning activity and got nice and dirty weeding and cleaning up the town center in preparation for Swiss Days of Midway
(Alison won the dirty hand contest and Brett ate a huge worm!)
We swam in Deer Creek Res., which was pretty cold so the kids sat in the shallow, nasty water to warm up- pretty gross!
Mindy and I relaxing with Isaiah on the porch swing- doesn't she look great pregnant??
Dad and his boys- Tom, Brett, Scott & Matt
We spent one day in Oakley riding horses at Bryce's house and swimming, playing racquetball and rock climbing at the rec. center.  Zanna rode by herself and was so excited about it- thanks Bryce!
we tried some team-building games, but got a little tangled up...
Mr. Isaiah- too cute!
we went out for a little hike and came back almost 2 hours later... the trail markers were a little tricky to follow :)
We swam in "The Homestead Crater" and loved the warm, natural mineral water- very cool.
the "big" cousins- Isaac, Lucy, Alex and Zach- at the bonfire
We gave my dad and pen carved out of olive wood for his retirement and it was really beautiful- thanks Andy!
you can never had enough pics with your sister
Andrea and her babes- Gracie and Max
Mom and Dad
Tom & Julia- Zach, Alex, Tim and Nigel
Brett & Alison- Lucy, Isaac, Maria, Goldie and Harrison
Scott & Andrea- Nathan, Luke, Max and Grace
Mindy & Bryce- Dale and Haypile (due in a couple days now!)
Mel & Dave- Zanna and James
Matt & Courtnee- little Isaiah was sleeping
The Whole Mumford Clan (minus Bryce at work)
We ended the week with a day at Lagoon- it's tradition and the kids love it!
James and Max- best buddies, usually
waiting in line at Lagoon- isn't he handsome?
We got totally dumped on with a huge storm while at Lagoon and I thought Maria looked so cute all wrapped up to get warm again

The rest of the UT trip...
Grace was blessed the Sunday following and it was neat to be there for her special day
she looked BEAUTIFUL
I always love to snap a picture with the kids and my grandpa- I just love him..
We had one more day swimming and  I loved Isaiah's look :)
The night before we came home we had a Hershey Reunion at the McCann's and it was GREAT to see our "sweet" friends again.
silly faces- zanna, owen, laura, james, steven, mason, and hannah
The Girls- Natalie, Caroline, Me and Meagan- we missed Julie and Jill in the picture but they were there and had to leave early!

This was one of my favorite trips home and I'm grateful for all the fun memories and for our great friends and family!!

Well you have had quite a trip. What are you going to do with yourself when you get home? Did I know Mindy was pregnant? I'm really glad you posted each of your siblings individual families. It was nice to put them into clumps. Your mom and dad must have loved having all of you together. What a fun family. Zanna is looking so pretty too.

It was nice to see the Hershey people again. Meaghan's baby has got to be huge I bet.

What a great time with your family! I love that you did a service project. I'm going to have to use that idea with my fami. I was in Utah from July 7-20. Was that during the big Hershey reunion? It would have been great to see you guys. Things were pretty crazy though. Happy let birth-day to 4 year-old James!
