fun pictures to come...

Another fabulous trip to UT has gone by and I am excited to post our pic's when we get home on
Wednesday... I can't wait to see Dave again and the kids are dying to play with Dad, cause like Zanna said last night "I love Dad all the way to Texas!"

We had a FANTABULOUS cruise to Mexico with Dave's fam, I had a much needed and enjoyed girl get-a-way to Boulder, CO, and the kids have had an amzing time with their Grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends! THANK YOU for all the watching of the Francis kiddos- they adore you all!

stay tuned for pictures to come...

One AWESOME week!

We had a very busy week last week and loved our outings and visitors here in Long Island. I am still learning my way around, but we are definitely making some great memories- I just wish Dave could have been apart of this fun week (he had a terrible week of days and nights, and enjoyed a quiet house to sleep in while we were out!)
Our day in Conneticut to visit Holly was a blast!
Oh, to have a playroom... and one with a stage!

The kids loved making pizza with Holly and playing dress-up- love ya Holls!
This is the COOLEST grocery store I have ever been to! I can't wait to drive to Conneticut to go there again so I can eat my heart out on the samples and the ice cream!

To: Mom and Dad

Happy Belated Valentine's Day! Actually, I just forgot to put this picture up for my Mom and Dad. We were decorating cookies and I made the green hair cookie and Zanna said, "hey, that looks like your mom's hair!" so then we had to make a dad cookie too and take a picture for you. You guys make a great duo and hope you like these portraits- love you!

I joined the gym...

For the first time in my life, I am a gym goer. (Actually, I signed up for Gold's Gym in Provo once but cancelled the next day- talk about an impulse buy.) I never thought I would be a gym member because I always loved exercising outside or just doing videos at home, but with all factors against me- a little apt. where I can easily kick the kids if I'm lettin' loose to Taebo, freezing windy weather, no trail conveniently out my door for the stroller, 2 kids who are getting older and needing more room and interaction, and needing an "out" in these last months of cold- I decided to join L.A. Fitness and it has CHANGED MY LIFE!! Not really, but sort of, and we are all loving it! Dave and I decided it is worth the splurge to let the kids run around in their huge KIDS ZONE, he gets to play racquetball, swim, lift, bike, run etc. and I attend all the awesome classes and have guilt free exercise time- it's amazing! Sometimes the kids are having so much fun, I take an extra 20 min and sit in the sauna or read in the nice lounge. We are healthier and happier and I can now say "I am a member."

Aspiring Pianists

These are their own renditions of "Jesus Entered Jordan's Waters." If you've been to our house lately, you've probably heard them in person- they love to play for everyone!

American Idol with my Girl

So, last Tuesday Zanna and I had an American Idol party and it was hilarious to sit and watch TV with her for the evening. We painted her nails, white with glow-in-the-dark pink sparkle on top- gorgeous! and had a great mother/daughter bonding night.

Here are some of her comments thru the night:

1) Mom, Ryan looks handsome!

2) after a commercial with talking numbers- "I didn't know numbers could talk!"

3) I like the guy with really long hair

4) During an Almay commercial- Z: "Mom, you need some of that." Me:"Why?" Z: "Then your skin will look so smooth!"

5) After about 30 min. of Idol, "Would you see if there is a kid show on, I am done with American Idol."

I love A.I. and I miss getting together with my friends in Hershey, but I had a great night with Zanna and am always entertained by her observations on life :)
